The Power of How I Met Your Mother

"How I Met Your Mother" (2005–2014) gives Ted nine seasons of stories and still leaves him wishing for 45 more days. 

In “The Time Travelers” (S8.E20 - March 25, 2013) Ted imagines meeting Tracy early, just to have that extra time together. Knowing he’s telling the story after her death changes what he’s asking for. Even the years they had together weren’t enough.
